The first time we ever visited Palm Springs together, the Palm Springs Art Museum was our very first stop! If you know us, you know we never pass up an art museum, and we are proud to be part of a community with such a vibrant and thriving art scene. The museum features an impressive collection of contemporary and modern art, rotating exhibitions that keep things fresh, and a sculpture garden that is absolutely worth a visit.

Hours can vary, so be sure to check the museum’s website before going.

Downtown Palm Springs

We love visiting Downtown Palm Springs whenever we get the chance. There is something so special about strolling down Palm Canyon Drive, taking in the views, and popping into our favorite local spots. Whether we are grabbing a coffee, checking out a boutique, or admiring the art displays, we always enjoy supporting the small businesses that make this community so unique.

Agua Caliente Casino Palm Springs

Located right in the heart of downtown, it is definitely a family favorite. Our moms have actually won quite a bit there, so it has become a bit of a lucky spot for us. The casino always makes the itinerary when family is in town. Whether it is playing the slots, catching some live entertainment, or just hanging out and enjoying the vibe, there is always something fun going on.

The Palm Springs Surf Club

Though we do not surf, the restaurant, the vibe, and the views here are some of our favorites. The Palm Springs Surf Club has such a fun and relaxed atmosphere, and it’s become one of our go-to spots in town. They just opened a lazy river at the end of March and offer day passes, so whether you want to surf, swim, or just hang out, it is always a great place to spend the day.

Palm Springs Aerial Tramway

The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway holds a special place in our hearts. We have always loved going for the views and the peaceful vibe, but one visit in particular made it unforgettable. During the height of COVID, our family got sick and we were unable to celebrate Thanksgiving with them. Everything in town was closed, we had no groceries, and we were honestly just trying to make it through the day. But the tram was serving a full Thanksgiving meal, included with the ride, on Thanksgiving Day. It was such an unexpected gift during a really hard time, and we will never forget it.

Pro-Tip! Take a coat, it gets cold at the top, no matter what the weather is like in town.
